Guillaume de Fondaumière - CEO - Quantic Dream
Guillaume is since 2003 Co-CEO of Quantic Dream. He co-manages the 200 head-strong company and oversees the production of all projects in the studio. He produced cross-platform video game Fahrenheit (Indigo Prophecy, ATARI) on Xbox, PS2 and PC (2005), as well as the two PS3 & PS4 exclusives Heavy Rain (2010/2016) and Beyond: Two Souls (2013/16). He produced the animation shorts The Casting (5’), Kara (7’), The Dark Sorcerer (13’).
His latest title Detroit: Become Human was released on May 25th 2018 on PS4 and reached 1 million+ units sold in its first 2 weeks on the market.
Previous to this Guillaume co-founded Arxel Tribe, a 3D SFX and video games dev. and publishing group. He produced many international TVCs and produced/published 20 video games on PC and consoles. Guillaume sold the group to Italian distributor CTO S.p.A. in 2001.
Earlier, Guillaume co-founded as a teenager C. de C. Promotions in Vienna (Austria) specialized in events organisation (fashion shows, open air festivals, live concerts).
Guillaume currently holds executive functions at: EGDF - European Games Developer Federation (Founder, former Chairman, now Vice-Chairman), the European video game ratings system PEGI (board member), the French video game trade body SNJV (Founder, former President, now VP). Since 2014, he is also a substitute Professor at French business schood HEC. He was board member of the Swiss arts council Pro-Helvetia between 2011 and 2017.
He was knighted in France's National Order of Merit in 2008.
